New Beginnings Support Program developed the S.I.S. program, a one-year program with a one-year follow-up post graduation, which helps our participants discover the barriers that hold them back from achieving their desired goals and works to improve their skills and abilities required to obtain them.
This program is tailored to low income, underprivileged, and vulnerable women.
In this interactive program, participants delve into dealing with and successfully improving their self-worth, self-esteem, reducing self-doubt, making smart decisions, and assertiveness. It will also cover business etiquette, job searching techniques, and a holistic approach to self-independence.
The S.I.S. program covers 2 main areas – Career Development, and Personal Development. We prepare our participants for life situations, empower them, and move them from low-income realities into independent and living wage employment. By the end of our program, each woman will have an action plan tailored to her, detailing the steps she will need to achieve her goals. Learn more about our 2 training areas below.

You can create your own destiny through hard work, persistence, and support. This is a program focusing on taking control of your life and creating your own path to success. The program uses the strength of a supportive group setting and certified life coaches and trainers to help participants transform their lives through, life reflection, self-awareness, understanding barriers that hold them back and taking positive action steps to improve their lives.
Roundtable discussions include but not limited to, letting go of the past, forgiveness, sharing experiences, learning empathy for others, developing new skills, commonality, developing new coping skills and interpreting experiences to positively benefit you. It is women supporting women, and understanding diverse populations and how to interact and effectively communicate with one another.
Our program is a full-year commitment that allows women from low income and under-serviced communities to transform their lives. With newfound confidence and practical knowledge and skills, women are able to walk away from poverty and despair making a better life for themselves and their children.
