New Beginnings Support Program is governed by a group of dynamic and talented individuals, who have given their time and expertise to further New Beginnings’ mission. Our goal is to create better lives and opportunities for women and their children. Collectively they have over 30 years of experience in: Mental and Physical health, Marketing, Business Management, Sales, Coaching, Career and Vocational Counseling.
Stephen is the Managing Partner, Talent for EY in Canada. He is responsible for leading all facets of the firm’s people strategy for both partners and staff. He is a member of the firm’s Inclusiveness Steering Committee where he co-chairs with the Firm’s Chairman and CEO.
Throughout Stephen’s career he has excelled as a client service partner in both the Audit and most recently the Advisory practice of the firm. He has provided leadership through counselling, mentoring and sponsorship to people within the firm at all levels.
Lynsey is a global loyalty practitioner currently working at LoyaltyOne Canada. Her Marketing career spans 20+ years, where she worked with tier one Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, QSR brands across three continents. Originally from Zimbabwe, Lynsey is married with two daughters. Giving back and making a difference in the lives of those in need are important to her; she dedicates her spare time volunteering with charitable organizations that assist women and children. Lynsey is happy to join the New Beginnings Support Program for women and children helping those in need, succeed.
Carol is a Senior Merchant Services Specialist at TD Bank Group Financial for 16 years; providing technical support and solutions for merchants that partner with TD Bank Group. She is detail-oriented and well organized, her exceptional communication skills has several promotions for the past several years.
Paul Hartford is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional working as a Health & Safety Consultant with Workplace Safety & Prevention Services, a key player in the Ontario occupational health & safety system.

Lemke Law Professional Corporation Scott has a broad corporate and commercial practice, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, reorganizations, financing, joint ventures, and partnerships. Scott also practices real estate law, with an emphasis on residential transactions, refinancing and commercial leasing.
Lawrence Dawkins has been a passionate community organizer for several years. Since the 1980’s and in various capacities, he has worked with some of Ontario most troubled and marginalized young people. Lawrence has created and given oversight to youth pilot projects in the Scarborough communities. Lawrence is currently a support educator with the Toronto District School Board.
Kahlia Castelle is a training and development professional who is currently employed as a Manager of Learning & Curriculum Development with the largest membership association for financial advisors and planners in Canada. Kahlia is a certified Teacher of English as a Second Language (TESL), and volunteers as a career mentor with numerous nonprofit organizations across Ontario. She is passionate about empowering vulnerable and marginalized groups to raise their level of autonomy, develop social resilience and reach economic self-reliance. Kahlia is committed to helping build sustainable communities.
